Goodmorning
Afternoon!
Sorry
for putting this up a day late! It is currently March the 3rd,
when I actually hit my cardio session on the 2nd. I
actually felt pretty decent leading up to going outside and starting
off with my paced jog. I was skeptical on actually attempting it
today, due to a fitness/physical education class I have on
Wednesdays, that last from 2PM to 4:30PM. Not only is it a long
duration class, because long classes aren't draining enough, but you
constantly move and perform cardiovascular tasks throughout the
entire session. I ended up going for a run to clear my head anyways.
I've had so much on my mind lately, and just with tons of things
happening, I have to clear my head of the bad days and focus on me
and my journey.
I'm
pretty surprised that I pushed a bit harder on the cardio/running
session on Wednesday. Instead of getting tired and stopping around 5
or 6 minutes in, I carried on for another minute or so, and I had
stopped my stopwatch at about 7 minutes and 10 seconds. After such, I
walked home, which took me 8 minutes and 40 seconds. The increases
run time, and increased walk time indeed confirms that I am beginning
to run farther, not just slower for a shorter/same distance. I travel
the same route each session. Is this much improvement? Not really. Is
it any? You bet your ass. Maybe it was all the crap battling it out
in my head, or my cardiovascular endurance has improved a bit. I'm
going to continue to see how my journey goes and keep ya'll updated.
Unfortunately,
ladies and gentlemen, day in and day out I forget to check my heart
rate first thing when I wake up. I need to write a sticky note on my
phone or something so I can remember for once.
Right
now I am getting ready to ship some PowerHouse Aesthetics apparel to
a customer, then finish up on some homework. You can goto our website
linked below to check out our current apparel line and online
coaching services.
Currently
sipping on my MTS Machine Fuel BCAA blend, which helps me recover for
tomorrow's full body push weight session.
Tomorrow
will be my dynamic push day. I will be hitting up bottom up pause
chained back squats with about 335lb on the bar, and 20-30 chains (at
the top of the movement) on each side for extra acceleration
amplifiers. Then I will be hitting my chained floor press with maybe
295lb on the bar, with the came chains double looped on the sides. It
is all about explosive power!
Not
only am I currently 8 weeks out from the NPC Ronnie Coleman Series
classic and using this cardiovascular endurance to cut down for the
show, but also hoping for improved heart rate and blood pressure, as
well as being able to keep up with my friend ( the Marine I mentioned
in my introduction to this journey) who will be home about the time
of my show.
Day
3
Time of
Day: Morning 9:30AM
Duration
till fatigue: 7:10 minutes
Location:
Around town, on pavement/gravel streets
Thoughts:
My main issue would be my shins keeping up with the impact of the
pavement. They begin to tighten up and hurt 5 to 6 minutes into the
session.
Issues
in muscle fatigue/joint ache: Shins began to fatigue about four
to five minutes in. Began to flat foot every step as shins and calves
fatigued. Tightness in calves/shins. Back was tightening up and in
pain. Felt the fatigue from the previous week build up.
